25 years ago I was told I was at high risk for colon and ovarian cancer and also had potential kidney damage. I was in my twenties at the time and I remember thinking ‘but I haven’t even started living my life yet.’
By age 29 I had enrolled on a 4 year herbal training, putting all my savings and earnings into paying for the training and dedicating many hours of research and study. The more I learned and started to put into daily practice the better I felt.
My mission then became to make this little known knowledge available to my local community. Back then this information was unknown and was before social media!
I thought I was going to find exotic secret herbs. Instead what I discovered was a practical simple approach to health based on nature and natural laws.
Later I met and trained with Pat Morrell and discovered through training in her Reflex Touch Therapy that the body itself contained wisdom and knowledge about what it needed to feel better.
My support and advice has remained unchanged for the last 10 years; and it still works because health is supposed to be simple. We just need to keep following the natural laws.
Often in clinic people come to me because they have had their own wake-up call and every time I am reminded of my own wake-up call and why I still provide this support.
So to me a wake-up call is a powerful start of a transformation…when you heed the call.
If I hadn’t had a bit of a scary wake-up call I think my life could have been pretty miserable. The thing is we don’t need to wait for a big call from the body (although they create big motivation).
Your body is always communicating in a wide variety of ways; emotionally, intuitively, little aches and pains, little changes
So here is a simple reminder
Know yourself; dig your iridology report out and remind yourself of the areas that you need to support
Regular DIY assessments; give yourself a monthly mini upgrade of your health. Spend a few minutes giving your health levels some focus. If it’s all 10/10 you know you are on the right track.
Maybe you just need to focus on a couple of areas such as sleep or sugar. It is far easier to correct one or two months of bad habits and non-supportive routine than 2-3 years!
Consistency not perfectionism
Simple small changes repeated daily create huge results that feel effortless.
Aiming for perfect can turn your life upside down, cause unhappiness and often result in giving up and very little results
